Essence and Nature. Humanity in Art Nouveau

The exhibition Essence and Nature. Humanity in Art Nouveau represents a unique meeting point between contemporary textile art e Art Nouveau stylecelebrating the beauty of the fibre art in the prestigious setting of Villa Bernasconi. The event hosts the 'Humans' edition of the Miniartextilan exhibition that investigates the complexity of the human figure, with works that explore themes of identity, fragility and resilience.

The exhibition presents nine mini-textiles selected to dialogue with the elegance of the villa, creating a harmonious fusion of past and present. Among the artists exhibited are Antonio Bernardo, Hiromi Murotani and Maimouna Guerresitogether with a special work from the latest edition of Miniartextil entitled Art as prayeracquired by the Municipality of Cernobbio to enrich the museum's collection.

The initiative is part of the Como-Cernobbio A/R Humanity in Villa Bernasconipromoted by the Como Social Theatrewhich combines art, culture and live performance in a constant dialogue between territory and innovation.

To make the experience even more immersive, there will be side eventsincluding guided tours and creative workshopsto immerse oneself in the charm of Art Nouveau and contemporary fibre art.
