Felice Casorati Designer

The exhibition Felice Casorati Designer offers an unprecedented perspective on the activity of Felice Casorati in the field of design and furnitureemphasising its pioneering role in the applied arts Italian. The exhibition, staged at the Felice Casorati Museum Studio by Pavarolo (TO) and in an area of Casorati Housepresents a collection of furniture and prototypes designed by the artist in Twentieth centurymany of which are being shown to the public for the first time.

The initiative takes place in conjunction with the Milan and Turin Design Week (MiTo Design Connection) and dialogues with the major anthological exhibition dedicated to Casorati at Royal Palace of Milan. The exhibition is accompanied by an essay by thearchitect Davide Alaimowhich analyses Casorati's impact in the evolution of the Italian design.

The exhibition takes place in two locations:

• Felice Casorati Museum Studiopresents works by the 1920swhen the artist collaborated with the patron Riccardo Gualinoexperimenting in the field of interior design and architecture.
• Casorati House: located in Pavarolo, preserves original furnishings designed by the artist, offering an authentic immersion in his aesthetic vision.

Among the exhibited works: 4 sculptures, 20 drawings on paper and 20 pieces of furniture.
