On the occasion of the Valentine's Day, the City Museums of Monza celebrate thelove with a unique exhibition that brings to light antique prints and works of art held in the museum's storerooms. Great loves. Passion and sentiment in the works of the Civic Museums of Monza recounts the feeling of love through art, exploring the many faces of theromantic, tragic, passionate and ideal love.

An exciting journey through paintings, engravings and artefacts retracing iconic love stories inspired by myths, legends and historical figures. From great classics from literature and mythology to the most intimate and unknown love affairs, the exhibition unveils masterpieces that are often hidden from public view. The exhibition offers the opportunity to admiring unreleased pieces of the civic collection, in an engaging journey between feeling and art.
