AM Club | The Sacro Monte of Varese

Guided tour between ancient and contemporary at Sacro Monte in Varese: the Baroffio Museum houses a rich collection of sacred art ranging from the Romanesque period to the contemporary age. Great names of artists are represented inside, such as Matisse, Guttuso, Carpi and Longaretti. The visit will also be an opportunity to follow the history of Santa Maria del Monte through the works from the Sanctuary. We will conclude the visit by entering the small Church of the Annunciata, where we can admire a 50-square metre stained glass window on the ceiling by the artist Trento Longaretti.
