MUSEO REGIONALE DELL’EMIGRAZIONE E DEI PIEMONTESI NEL MONDO

The Museo dell'Emigrazione dei Piemontesi nel Mondo (Museum of the Emigration of Piemontese in the World), active since 2006, is located in Frossasco in a space specially set up thanks to the contribution of the municipality, the Associazione dei Piemontesi nel Mondo (Piemontese in the World Association), the Piedmont Region and with the support of numerous public and private bodies.

The heart and raison d'être of the museum is the story of the emigration of hundreds of thousands of Piedmontese who, over the decades, left their homeland in search of a better future elsewhere.

From this original nucleus, the Museum's activities have gradually expanded to include the study of migratory flows arriving in Piedmont and the current migration phenomenon involving thousands of young people from the region leaving for foreign countries.
