Massimo Sestini. Zenit of photography

At Santa Giulia Museumas part of the seventh edition of the Brescia Photo Festival Witnessesthe Municipality of Brescia and the Brescia Musei Foundation present a solo exhibition by Massimo Sestini. The exhibition explores the transformation of our country through the lens of Sestini, a leading figure in international contemporary photography and winner of the World Press Photo in 2015.

The following will be presented 35 large-format images and about 50 backstage photographs and insights, offering a curated selection of Sestini's works. The exhibition focuses on themes dear to the artist, such as theillegal immigration and the great events that have marked Italian history.

The famous aerial imageswhich have made the photographer world-renowned, will be exhibited in ansite-specific installation at the Museum of Santa Giulia, an architectural and artistic setting of great value that further enhances the shots of Massimo Sestini.
