The luthier's art. Music in the Castle

The Moncalieri Castle hosts the exhibition The luthier's art. Music in the Castlepromoted in collaboration with the Municipality of Moncalieri and the Municipality of Volpiano.

Protagonists of the exhibition, set up in the flats of Princesses Marie Clotilde and Marie Letizia, are the stringed instruments made by the master luthier Giuseppe Silvio Martinaone of Italy's oldest manufacturers of musical instruments. Visitors are thus guided on a journey through the art of violin making, discovering the playing techniques and the essences of woods suitable for making musical instruments.
