The exhibition brings together for the first time a significant number of photographic works by international artists present in the Collection and on loan to Castello di Rivoli and traces the relationship between the use of photography and developments in contemporary art over the last 50 years. Through the medium of photography, the works on show indigenise different types of relationship with the landscape, from the performative actions of the 1960s-70s, to works by the pioneers of Land Art, Arte Povera and Body Art, to more contemporary experiences.

The exhibition is part of EXPOSED Torino Foto Festival - Turin International Festival of Photography.
