The exhibition opens with an overview of the lively artistic and cultural environment in Paris during the Belle Époquehighlighting the seething atmosphere of cafés, cabarets, theatres and the circus, which so inspired Toulouse-Lautrec.

The exhibition route will highlight precisely its recurring themes, including the circus, the parisian nightlife, the portraits of artists e celebrities of the time and the representation of marginalised social classes.
