The museum in the cellars of Palazzo Alfieri houses set designs by Eugenio Guglielminetti, a multifaceted pupil of Felice Casorati who uses the box-cage, the fixed scenic device and the chromakey technique. The museum sections are divided into sculpture, set design for music, dance, theatre and television.

Along the ancient cellars of the Palazzo Alfieri is an exhibition space housing sculptures and stage designs by Eugenio Guglielminetti, a painter, sculptor and stage designer who was a pupil of Felice Casorati

The sections that make up the museum are divided into sculpture, set design for music, dance, theatre and television.
In the 1970s, Guglielminetti investigated the visual appeal of music, working on productions for operas by Verdi, Puccini, Mozart, Rossini and Donizetti.
In the world of dance and ballet, he collaborated with Loredana Furno and the Compagnia del Teatro Nuovo in Turin, with references to pop art and Mondrian.
For theatre, the master moves between Bauhaus, metaphysics and the historical avant-garde, devising the device of the 'cage-box' and the fixed scenic device for commedia dell'arte, Renaissance and Baroque literature, Molière, Shakespeare and Alfieri.

For the world of television, Guglielminetti used the chromakey technique to recreate special effects, working with Gregoretti, Carlo Quartucci, Piero Angela and Antonello Falqui.
