AMclub | Turner. Landscapes of Mythology + Afternoon Tea

An extraordinary exhibition dedicated to the great English Romantic painter presenting some 40 works including impressive paintings, oil sketches and watercolours from the collections of the Tate UK.

To relive the atmosphere from across the Channel, the visit will be followed by the experience of a typical Afternoon Tea, with the tasting of two teas, traditional English pastries - biscuits and scones - and small sandwiches, served at the elegant Caffè degli Argenti.

The tasting will be accompanied by a brief historical introduction to the’Afternoon Tea which, according to tradition was born in 1800, when the Duchess of Bedfors, close friend of the Queen Victoria, he made his “five o'clock snack” an unmissable social event at Court.
