The exhibition entitled Photography and the arts, is dedicated to the use of photography as a tool for teaching and artistic research in the various schools of the Albertina Academy in the decades following the unification of Italy (Ornamentation and Ornamental Plastics, Sculpture and Painting, to which the teaching of Architecture was added).

The exhibition is the first event in a three-phase project that unveils the previously unseen historical photographic heritage of the Turin Academy of Fine Arts.
