In October and November, the MUSLI – School Museum and Pop-App Museum It offers a wide-ranging programme of ongoing workshops designed for children and families. Located in the centre of Turin, the museum welcomes visitors holding an Abbonamento Musei pass for two regular weekend events, dedicated to rediscovering the writing styles of days gone by and the fascinating world of pop-up books.

  • The experience: On the occasion of the exhibition “Always cheerful, children! Lothar Meggendorfer and the pop-up book in Italy between the 19th and 20th centuries”, the course introduces participants to the basic techniques of pop-up books. Every Sunday, a different section of the Pop-App Museum is explored, followed by a practical session: folds, levers and moving mechanisms to create a small, original paper craft piece inspired by the books on display.
