On 18 March 2021, Associazione Abbonamento Musei was entered under no. 1009 of the Register of Legal Entities set up at the Prefecture of the City of Turin. The Entity's entry in the Register, the name of the Legal Representative, as well as the other elements contained therein, are self-certifiable data pursuant to current legislation.

The aim of the Abbonamento Musei Association is to promote and coordinate cultural initiatives and events aimed at disseminating and improving knowledge and enjoyment of museums and enhancing the cultural heritage of Piedmont, Lombardy and Valle d'Aosta. Its actions include the development of Abbonamento Musei, a branded project.

To this end, it organises events and manifestations, produces publishing activities, catalogues, films, videos and the like, organises theatrical performances, concerts and other cultural events, carries out monitoring and study activities, promotes and implements services for cultural institutes and places, as well as promotes the recovery of specific areas or zones of cultural, historical and/or artistic value, and carries out any other activity aimed at pursuing the aforementioned purposes.

The Museum Subscription Association is a non-profit organisation.
